GTT will take part in Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2024, the international event dedicated to good food, designed to be a joining link between nature and culture. Turin will host the event from 26 to 30 September at Parco Dora, which has become a symbolic place of urban regeneration.
GTT is involved as green partner and, in line with the main theme of the 2024 edition “We are nature”, promotes a model of sustainable mobility through an enhanced service, contributing to a reduction of the environmental impact of the event.
To ensure that visitors get to the venue easily, the service along the routes serving Parco Dora will be enhanced, mostly at times that attendees are expected to flow into it.
On the days of the event, an information stand will be open in the venue, from 10:00 to 20:30, to provide visitors with information about routes and timetables, and also to sell tickets for travel on public transport.
Service boosted on routes serving Parco Dora
Parco Dora is served by routes 3 and 9: the former connects the east and the north-west of the city; the latter spans from the north and the south-west of the city, serving Porta Nuova railway station.
Service frequency will be boosted for both routes in the evening; in particular on Sunday, service n. 9 will be running with a frequency of one bus every 10 minutes between 14:30 and 20:00. Service frequency will be boosted for route 72 between 8:30 and 20:00.
Getting to Turin by train
Parco Dora is directly connected to both Porta Nuova and Porta Susa railway stations by public transport.
From/to Porta Nuova, use route 9 or 52 (on Sundays it is replaced by service 67).
From/to Porta Susa, use route 60,72 or 72/ (not operating on Sundays).
Getting to Turin by car
A wide parking area is available at Allianz Stadium (sectors P5 and P7) from where you can get to Parco Dora by using route 72 or 72/. We suggest that you board at bus stop n. 2444 - "Druento", 2442 "Stadio". At each of these bus stops, GTT staff will be available to assist passengers and to sell tickets.
